Proven System for transformation with attention, learning and discipline(Youths)

Greater Toronto Areas(GTA) Lions is a soccer academy Scouting system at the heart of Scarborough-Toronto.

It has one single mission; to develop talented young players into Pro Clubs & provide athletes a plateform to gain exposure to coaches representing the U.S.A & Canada finest academic institurions. Reasons, why our coaches train you with intensity and purpose-to-improve through fun drill and soccer IQ growth (You're trained & taught).

Our mission first is make you comfortable with the ball(Fundamentals), walk you into your peak level of productivity- no place for procrastination. Through inexhaustible motivation - you learn how to achieve the ultimate a FLOW mind state. When we unlock Flow, you'll gain the ability to get more done in a fraction of the time - in sports and life. 

We put efforts in avoiding confusion, making player's needs more important than wants, keeping the training fun, indirect dicipline-through grooming, by providing a path to promote success at all levels(A better person before a better player). More emphasis are placed on technique, game-IQ, charaters and speed of play.

GTA Lions Soccer Academy can not accept individuals, without a tryout. We also accept player already playing with other clubs that are seeking exposure.They go through our grooming process(eliminating or refining areas in their game). At 14, a resolution is made by our staffs, if you stay in Development Competitive level, Soccer For Life Competitive Program(IModel) or High Performance Program (OPDL & Collage Prep) still under our watch for more exposure to the soccer market.

Youth development

Youth development at GTA Lions incorporateds the French National Academy "Clairefontaine" principles on soccer with their students, such as:

• Making the player’s movements faster and better
• Linking movements efficiently and wisely
• Using the weaker foot
• Weaknesses in the player’s game
• Psychological factors (sports personality tests)
• Medical factors
• Physical tests (beep test)
• Technical skills
• Skill training (juggling the ball, running with the ball, dribbling, kicking, passing and ball control)
• Tactical (to help the ball carrier, to get the ball back, to offer support, to pass the ball and follow the pass, positioning and the movement into space).
• The GTA Lions academy director and officials in collaboration with Soccer Life Canada, will convene to select competatively a maximum of 22 players each year; with three or four of the 22 being goalkeepers, for French Professional Clubs tryout, here in Canada-Toronto. 
• This process helps to select, "ONLY" the best players get to travel to Europe. This helps clarify and reduces expenses soccer families are accumulating going abroad for showcases. www. soccerlife8.com  
• This reduces the unecessary trips abroad, because players ate commited to train hard and attached their goals -through determination on family growth,if they want to play Pro or go abroad. At GTA Lions we don't follow the "PASSIVE" soccer education culture.
